Graston Technique utilizes therapeutic instruments to find and break up “knots” in muscles and soft tissues. These knots cause pain and restrictions of movement. Graston Technique will improve soft tissue function and reduce pain and discomfort.

Cupping is a therapeutic modality used to treat soft tissue, increase circulation, and encourage lymphatic flow. A cylinder is placed over the skin and air is pulled out, creating suction. Blood is drawn into the area, feeding oxygen and nutrients to stagnated tissues and the superficial fascia is stretched. This therapy may leave a small bruise on the skin, a sign of increased blood and lymph flow to the area.

 

Functional Dry Needling

Functional Dry Needling involves inserting a thin needle into the muscle of the region of a “Trigger Point’. The aim of Functional Dry Needling is to achieve a local twitch response to release muscle tension and pain. Functional Dry Needling is an effective treatment for chronic pain of from a variety of sports injuries and musculoskeletal problems with very few side effects.
